Vivian Barigand (Be)

Visual artist and experimental musician, Vivian Barigand develops a multidisciplinary practice combining installations, performances and videos, questioning the body, sound and image. His artistic practice is motivated by a constant questioning, a poetic research, real metamorphosis, transformation of the invisible, materialization of memories. His work lingers on thoughts generated by the quotidian, repetitions, the passage of time, whatever the media, it tells stories through an aesthetic translation of his own experiences with simplicity, like a ritual, an obsession, a revelation.

Sa pratique artistique est motivée par un questionnement constant, une recherche poétique, métamorphose du réel, transformation de l’invisible, matérialisation de souvenir. Ses travaux s’attardent sur les pensées générées par le quotidien, les répétitions, le temps qui passe, quelques soient les médiums, il raconte des histoires, via une traduction esthétique de ses propres expériences, avec simplicité, comme un rituel, une obsession, une révélation.
