Occulte (creation)

Occulte is a sound, visual and interactive installation. The idea is to create an exchange of glances between the machine and the viewer through interactivity. The work was based on mapping technique by transforming the shape in an active representation (dynamic). Each student created his video on the basis of an exquisite corpse, from a predefined schema.

A project by Antoine Outtier (Be), Elisabeth Creusen (Be), Florent Eeckeman (Fr), Helga Dejaegher (Be) et Maxime Lanneau (Be).

In the framework of Émergences Numériques initiated by Transcultures

Florent Eeckeman

Florent Eeckeman is a multidisciplinary artist. His practice is related to digital tools to their specific technological and plastics. The raw material (images, sounds, texts…) that made his work is largely derived from Internet, although his research focus on predefined topics (travel, virtual…) serendipity is very present. His work consists in questioning the status of this matter at first and then affix it a gesture as diverse as modeling, editing, or redial in to transform its report viewers.
