<iframes> it is an connected installation that can present a lot of web content from the various Webwatch of Jacques Urbanska (news feeds, Websites, Web / Internet tools: mailing, search engines, data visualization) and proposes their content in the form of big multimedia projections.

For these Transnumeriques 2015, <iframes> is a focused on the GIF format: over 2,000 Web artworks are remixed in real time and projected on a giant screen.

Jacques Urbanska is also involved in the Transnumériques Awards, the GifWall project and the Forum From Digital to Culture.

Jacques Urbanska (Be)

Jacques Urbanska is an actor and trained as a director. His research has questioned the conventional theater stage as a unique spot of a possible representation, as well as the individual relationship to the spectator, the spectator’s perception and the notion of post-dramatic theater. His projects are event-type shows and ambulatory modules. In 2007, he turns towards performances and digital arts. His projects range from multimedia performance to arts networks.

Since 2010, he has built a large information network on digital arts (arts-numeriques.info – twitter @arts_numeriques), but also on various political and societal topics (see his twitter fukushima_actu, revolution_info, occupy_USA, Belgique_info,sarkozy_info…).

Since 2012, he is manager for Media Arts and Art projects networks @ Transcultures, he intervenes in the development of projects related to digital arts and provides expertise and support in both development issues, the implementation of the various programs at Transcultures. He is also a curator. He assures Web presence at Transcultures and strengthens its network on the Internet. He is a “Web Strategy” consultant for various public and private structures. He is also in charge of the Web strategy at NGO Echos Communication.
